July 10th       Pub Night

Seventeen members had an enjoyable meal at the Tiger Inn at Coneythorpe. A new venue for us.

July 13th       North Yorkshire Moors Railway

This was an excellent weekend organised by the MYM Railway. The weather was dry, if not sunny,

for both days and lots of people came to admire the large selection of cars at each station.

A few members travelled down the line to Levisham to enjoy the music

provided by a Shadows tribute band.

July 27th       Tees Valley Trail

Four cars met at Morrisons at Boroughbridge for an 8.30am

departure on what turned out to be a beautiful sunny day - tops down all the way.

Having signed on with Tees Valley Club, the access to the ‘Show field’ being through the Black Bull car park at Swainby,

we set off along an 85 mile route around the North Yorks Moors.

The route took in Osmotherley, Helmsley, Hutton-Le-Hole, Rosedale Chimney and Glaisdale before returning to our starting point

for a very pleasant picnic in glorious sunshine and idyllic surroundings. Along the route there were narrow winding roads, steep hills and spectacular views.

All in all it was an excellent day out and the really good news is that Roger & Val’s car waited until it was parked in the drive back home

before the alternator said enough is enough.

At least it can now be sorted before the French trip.
