Christmas Cracker Weekend
17 members met at The Craven Heifer for coffee on a cold somewhat wintry Saturday morning for the journey to Penrith.
We drove up over the tops to Malham and eventually dropped down to Langcliffe before taking more major roads up to Hawes.
Some of us made an unscheduled stop there for lunch and a wait for an RAC man because of a breakdown.
Others had gone on to Kirkby Stephen for their lunch.
Eventually most of us made it to the hotel in Penrith,
Harry joined us courtesy of the RAC who would pick him up the following morning and then take him and his car home.
Sunday, and with the weather no better, in fact worse, given the fog some decided not to do the run but to wend their way home.
Five couples started the run but had to abandon it later due to bad weather.
It was still a very good weekend and many thanks to Barbara for organising it.

Club Night
Many thanks to Val for the home made Christmas cake and mince pies. Same again next year please.
Oakdale Dinner
Fifty members enjoyed an extremely good meal, perhaps the best yet, at the Oakdale Golf Club.
Sadly Mal, the magician, could not attend due to illness but the members entertained themselves.
