AGM

There were a couple of changes made at the AGM to the Committee structure .

Barbara stood down as Chair and Roger Illingworth was elected, George Grayson was elected Vice-Chair.

There were no more nominations from the members so the rest of the committee was re-elected unchanged.

Pub Night - The Kestrel

Twenty members met on the 19th January at The Kestrel for a meal.

We had our own private area and waitress service, nothing was too much trouble.

There was even an added bonus of 25% off the bill.

It was a good evening, enjoyed by everyone.

Thanks to Ann & Stuart for organising it and sharing their wedding anniversary.

BLENHEIM - MGB 50th Birthday  - September 21st to 24th

MGOC and MG Car Club are together holding an event at Blenheim Palace on Sunday 23rd 

September. There are no further details from them at present. (www.MGB50.com)

Having already contacted the MGOC they say any MG is welcome but their display will be MGBs

We are organising a long/short weekend staying somewhere near Blenheim.

Drive down Friday, Saturday at leisure (maybe a visit to Oxford or the Cotswolds), Sunday at the show and return home Monday.

Number of days can be two, three or four depending on circumstances.

We are hoping to keep the cost to about £50 per person per night bed & breakfast.

Early numbers will be appreciated to help determine the size of hotel.
