Oakdale Dinner

 

Another successful Christmas Dinner was enjoyed by about sixty members and guests.

The food was judged by some to be the best yet.

This has now become a firm favourite in our social  calendar.

The weather on the night looked atrocious, snow blizzards swirled around the clubhouse as we enjoyed our meal.

It perhaps led to an earlier departure for most of us but once up the slope out of the car park the journey home was relatively easy.

 

Christmas dinner 2010 has already been pencilled in the diary of the caterer.

Annual Dinner Dance - March 20th 2010

 

Bookings are now being taken for this event at The Millstones.

We will be making this a special occasion for our 25th year.

We have engaged Harry Gration (Look North Presenter) as a speaker.

Roche Bentley and Richard Monk are also attending.

 

The cost is £25 per person, Barbara needs a deposit of £5 each and menu choices.

 

Please book early to avoid a last minute panic for the Committee as most members have

previously booked the event only a month before the meal.
